HomeRun is built to feel effortless on the surface and rock solid underneath.

Every tap sits on a framework shaped by research into how people share work, build habits, and stick to routines, so running a home together does not feel like "work".

And that translates to...

Dinner on the table without a 6 p.m. “what’s in the fridge?” crisis

Trash taken out before it becomes a science experiment

No frantic hiding of toys and laundry when your mother-in-law drops by unannounced

Our Origin Story

When we moved in together, we thought we had it covered. Between the two of us, we had spent nearly twenty years running large projects and leading teams. What’s more, we’re two highly independent people who knew our way around household chores.

How hard could running a home together be?

Turns out, it’s harder than we imagined.

Work runs on rules, clarity, and deadlines.

Home runs on trust and little, unspoken expectations.

Running a family isn’t about fixed rules. It needs rhythm — knowing when to step in and when to step back. And that’s why you don’t even realize when giving space quietly turns into holding grudges.

We wanted a way to share the load and still keep the joy. So we built HomeRun.

We wanted a way to keep things running without losing the joy — so we built HomeRun.

A Bit About Our Studio

We’re WITCH & WIDGET, a duo with one foot in design and the other in code.

One of us thinks in systems, the other in sentences. We’re on a mission to build clever, gap-filling apps for modern life  powered by the itch to fix things, caffeine, and the occasional existential crisis.
